MINISO offers two models: • Traditional Agency – full MINISO store (150 sqm Lagos/Abuja; 100 sqm other states). • Channel Agency – for smaller cities, attached to an existing retail store.
For Traditional Agency: • Total investment: ₦50M – ₦80M (store size + renovation + furniture + stock). • Annual Franchise Fee: ₦500,000 (Lagos/Abuja) or ₦300,000 (other states). • Compliance Deposit (refundable): ₦1.5M (Lagos/Abuja) or ₦500,000 (other states). While for Channel Agency: • No franchise fee. • You only pay for MINISO logo installation + product stock.
For Traditional Stores: • 40%–45% wholesale discount depending on order volume. While for Channel Stores: • ₦1.5M–₦3M → 15% • ₦3M–₦7M → 25% • ₦7M+ → 35%
You must: Secure a 100–150 sqm commercial space with high foot traffic. Pay the franchise fee + compliance deposit. Cover renovation costs (using your contractor or MINISO’s). Pay for store furniture provided by MINISO. Stock the store directly from MINISO at discounted rates.
Your contractor (or MINISO’s recommended contractor) handles: • Tiles • Ceiling • AC • Wall finish • Lighting setup • Any structural adjustments MINISO supervises but does not set the price; you negotiate it.
MINISO supplies and you prepay for: • Shelves • Cashier counter • Store lighting • Branding & logo • Alarm systems • Staff uniforms • Scanners + other store fittings Final reconciliation happens within 2 months of opening.
Yes, if you can’t find one, MINISO agents can search for options in your preferred area. But profitability depends on foot traffic; opening in a low-traffic area is your risk, not theirs.
